One of Afrobeats biggest artists Davido has signed a managerial partnership agreement with an international record and management label, Love Renaissance (LVRN).
Davido is signed to his own record label, Davido Worldwide Entertainment Limited under an exclusive licence to Sony Music Entertainment UK Limited.

Love Renaissance is an American record label and management company founded by Carlon Ramong, Justice Baiden, Junia Abaidoo, Sean Famoso McNichol, and Tunde Balogun. It is based in Atlanta, Georgia, the same place Davido was born.

However, the label’s distribution is through Interscope Records, a unit of Universal Music Group. LVRN will now provide management expertise to Davido‘s existing management team.

Davido confirmed the news himself shortly after the story was published by Billboard on their official website.

Furthermore, Davido joins the company of many foreign artists such as 6lack, Summer Walker, Young Rog, Cruel Santino, and a few more under this managerial collaboration with LVRN.

“Partnering with the team at LVRN was a no-brainer,” Davido said of the new managerial collaboration. They are some of the most brilliant executives in the music industry, and their previous work speaks for itself.

“Their understanding of the global music landscape, combined with their roots in their home country, makes this the ideal partnership.” I am excited to work with them and to see what the future holds.”

Davido confirmed the announcement on his Twitter page by quoting the official Billboard page.

New Davido Album in 2023?

Davido in the aftermath of his son’s death, was cryptic in his “See y’all in March” post on his Instagram. Many of his fans and afrobeats music lovers, in general, believe he has a new album on the way. His last album is “A Better Time,” and a new one is long overdue.

Additionally, in 2022, Davido became the first afrobeats artist to perform at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup. That performance seems to be one big positive for him after having to deal with the sad loss of his only son, Ifeanyi.
