The lineup for Afronation 2023, the world’s biggest afrobeats festival has been released. And some of the biggest Afrobeats artists lead the way. Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are some of the best Afrobeats export in recent times for the way they’ve popularized the genre.

Afrobeats is now one of the most sought-out genres of music in the contemporary world. Its uniqueness is what drives the Afrobeats movement. Afrobeats is global, and this claim is backed by the rapid increase in the number of international collaborations the genre is churning out.

Obviously, the 2023 AfroNation is a continuation of a tradition that has been around for a decade now. Afronation is an annual two-to-four-day music festival produced by Live Nation, Event Horizon, Smade Entertainment, and Memories of Tomorrow. The music festival was founded by Obi Asika, and Smade, in association with BBC 1 Xtra, in 2013.

However, the music festival is going to be a two-day event, starting on the 27th and ending on the 28th of May 2023. Burna Boy is the headliner for the first day. Wizkid will headline the second day to close the event.
