Burna Boy officially known as Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR is a Nigerian afrobeats artiste. He is a songwriter, record producer, and most recently a video director. He directed the music video to his hit song Last Last.

Burna Boy was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. His father, Samuel Ogulu managed a welding company and his mother worked as a translator. Damini’s mother is Bose Ogulu and she manages the African Giant currently. Burna Boy’s grandfather Idonije Benson once managed the famous Fela Kuti and it somehow influenced Burna’s music. Damini grew up in Southern Nigeria and he started making his own beats using FruityLoops.

Big 7 attended Corona Secondary School—High School, in Agbara (Ogun State) and later relocated to London for Tertiary education. El Mejor went on to study Media Technology at the University of Sussex, in the southeast of England.
