Asake has released his album Mr. Money With The Vibe and it has received a rather warm reception. YBNL signee Asake dropped his first album on September 8, 2022. Following his mixtape ‘Olalade‘, Asake wasted no time in dropping his somophore project.  Magicsticks -a producer from Lagos, Nigeria produced Mr. Money With The Vibe album. The album consists of songs like the album opener; Dull, Sungba Remix with Burna Boy, etc.

Asake has had multiple singles chart at the pinnacle of streaming platforms; Apple Music, Spotify, Boomplay, and more. Singles like ‘PBUY (Peace Be Unto You)‘, ‘Terminator‘, and ‘Organise‘ all debuted at Nigeria’s Apple Music number one spot. He has received his own share of criticism, with some citing his monotonous sound as a potential barrier to truly becoming a complete artiste.

The Afropop star came into the Nigerian music scene in 2020 with a catchy song titled ‘Lady‘. Overall it was a bop, people danced to vibed, and danced to and it promised more. Over the next couple of years, he built upon that and first delivered ‘Mr Money’ before his game-changing Olamide—YBNL boss collaboration, ‘Omo Ope’. It was the song that laid the foundation for what’s to come in the future.
